The Chamber Musicians of Cambridge have an absolute commitment to equality and diversity in all areas of our work. Within the context of the work of the charity we understand this as including:

  • Acknowledging and valuing individuality and difference, for example difference of age, background or lifestyle, both within our organisation and outside it
  • Actively promoting inclusivity and diversity both within our organisation and in our audience development strategies, so far as this does not involve positive discrimination
  • Ensuring that in the course of our activities we neither perpetrate nor permit either directly or indirectly discriminatory behaviour.

We are a small organisation which is managed by its trustees, all of whom are strongly committed to our policy of equality and diversity, and to taking appropriate action to ensure its implementation.
