Calum Moulton is a third year medic at Peterhouse, but is currently reading music for one year. He started playing the violin aged seven, before picking up a viola six years later. He has been co-principal viola in both the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra, and is a regular chamber music performer in Cambridge. Calum is equally active musically in his home region of Northumberland, and four years ago was awarded, by Northern Arts, the Young Achievers Award for most outstanding contribution to the Arts in the North-East.
