Paul Gauguin, The ‘Cellist

Jon Rees is from Bristol and studies with Ioan Davies. He has played with various chamber music groups, one of which reached the final concert of the National Youth Chamber Music Competition. Now in his fifth with the National Youth Orchestra, he is the orchestra’s principal cellist. He is in his first year studying French and German and Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.
