Peter Foggitt is presently Senior Choral Scholar of King's College Choir.
He has appeared as soloist in Bach's St John Passion, Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, and Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols (for television broadcast). He has recently completed a tour of England with Collegium Regale, the a cappella group comprised of the Choral Scholars, of which he is Musical Director.

Prior to Cambridge, Peter trained as a pianist and composer at Chetham's
School of Music, Manchester, where his first large-scale compositions
(including his first symphony and a setting of the Song of Solomon) were
performed. Recent performances on the piano have included several recitals at Kettle's Yard, Prokofiev's Seventh Sonata at King's, a recital of
improvisations at Robinson, the Ravel G major Concerto with UCPO, and
Prokofiev's Third Concerto with CUMS I. Future plans include the Piano
Concerto of Khachaturian with CUSO, and Beethoven's Choral Fantasia with Stephen Cleobury and KCMS.

Peter is also active as a composer and arranger, working with Court Lane
Music, and with Collegium Regale. He has recently completed commissions for the Chamber Musicians of Cambridge, the Eden:Stell Guitar Duo, Chichester Cathedral Choir and the Phoenix Brass Quintet, who are recording his seven-movement work, The Phoenix Bird, for commercial release later this year.
